Subject: Condolence Resolution for Sophie Masloff, former mayor of Pittsburgh
 
When we return to Session next month, I will introduce a condolence resolution to honor former Pittsburgh Mayor Sophie Masloff, who passed at the age of 96 on Sunday, August 17. Sophie was a great Pittsburgher, a great leader, and a proud representative of our city. In addition to serving as our mayor for five and a half years, Sophie had a career in public service that spanned six decades. She was also my constituent and someone I was proud to call a friend.

I hope you will join me in remembering Sophie by co-sponsoring this resolution.
