Subject: | Resolution Honoring the 50th Anniversary of the St. James Lutheran Church Building |
In the near future, I plan to introduce a resolution honoring the 50th anniversary of the St. James Lutheran Church building in Limerick, Pennsylvania. St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church was founded in 1818 as part of a Union church with St. James Reformed Church (now St. James United Church of Christ). One of the most significant events in the life of the church was the splitting of that union and the construction of this building in 1964, which allowed the church to grow and reach out to many new people. St. James works to foster a community that helps all people grow in their faith and strengthen their relationship with Christ and continues to move into the future with confidence, excitement and hope. Please join me in co-sponsoring this resolution to honor St. James Lutheran Church 50 years of service to their community. |
