Subject: Co-Sponsorship- Establishes the Elk Damage Fund
 
In the near future, I will be introducing legislation establishing the Elk Damage Fund

The proposed legislation would authorize deterrent fences for deer, bear and elk. It would provide for the payment of claims for damages by certain elk, and impose duties on the Department of Agriculture. In addition, the legislation would establish the Elk Damage Fund.
