Subject: Co-Sponsorship: Resolution Observing the Month of February 2013 as Child Sexual Abuse Awareness Month
 
In the near future, I plan to re-introduce (former HR533) a resolution observing the month of February 2013, as Children's Sexual Abuse Awareness Month in Pennsylvania.

The month of February is a magical month for most children, filled with the warmth of a loving family as they celebrate Valentine's Day. Unfortunately for some children the month of February, like every other month of the year, is a time when they experience the horrors of sexual abuse.

This resolution enables all House Members to join me in recognizing the warning signs of sexual abuse of children.
