SPEAKER MATTHEW J. RYAN LEGISLATIVE OFFICE BUILDING - DESIGNATION

AN ACT
Designating the Capitol Annex Building as the Speaker Matthew J.
Ryan Legislative Office Building and providing for its use;
and making a repeal.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Designation.
The Capitol Annex Building, which is also known as the Old
Museum Building, is hereby designated as, and shall be referred
to as, the Speaker Matthew J. Ryan Legislative Office Building.
Section 2. Space allocation.
The Bi-partisan Management Committee of the House of
Representatives shall hereafter have the authority to change the
allocation of space in the Speaker Matthew J. Ryan Legislative
Office Building, formerly known as the Capitol Annex Building,
and may allocate and reallocate that space for such legislative
purposes as it deems necessary.
Section 3. Repeal.
Section 2402.1 of the act of April 9, 1929 (P.L.177, No.175),
known as The Administrative Code of 1929, is repealed to the
extent that it is inconsistent with the provisions of this act.
Section 4. Effective date.
This act shall take effect immediately.
