OFFICIAL STATE LOCOMOTIVES - DESIGNATION
                  Act of Dec. 18, 1987, P.L. 421, No. 89              Cl. 71
                                  AN ACT

     Selecting, designating and adopting official steam and electric
        locomotives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

        The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     hereby enacts as follows:

     Section 1.  Official locomotives.
        The K4S 1361 Steam Locomotive located at the Railroaders'
     Memorial Museum in Altoona, Pennsylvania, and the K4S 3750 Steam
     Locomotive located at the Pennsylvania Railroad Museum in
     Strasburg, Pennsylvania, are hereby selected, designated and
     adopted as the official steam locomotives of the Commonwealth of
     Pennsylvania. The GG1 4859 Electric Locomotive located at the
     Transportation Center in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, is hereby
     selected, designated and adopted as the official electric
     locomotive of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
     Section 2.  Effective date.
        This act shall take effect immediately.
