RUFFED GROUSE ADOPTED AS STATE BIRD
                 Act of Jun. 22, 1931, P.L. 662, No. 234              Cl. 71
                                  AN ACT

     To select and adopt the ruffed grouse as the State game bird of
        Pennsylvania.

        Section 1.  Be it enacted, &c., That the ruffed grouse
     (bonasa umbellus) is hereby selected, designated and adopted as
     the State game bird of Pennsylvania.
        Section 2.  This act shall be in force and effect from and
     after its passage.
