AN ACT
Amending Title 25 (Elections) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
Statutes, in preliminary provisions, further providing for
standardized forms.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Section 1105 of Title 25 of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
§ 1105. Standardized forms.

(c) Organ donation.--
(1) Standardized voter registration forms, including
online forms, shall:
(i) Include the following question:
"Would you like to register as an organ and
tissue donor?"
(ii) Allow for registration as an organ donor when
registering to vote.
(2) The secretary shall compile and submit a list of

registrations under paragraph (1)(ii) to the Department of
T ransportation for inclusion in the Donate Life PA Registry.
(3) The registration under this section shall have the
same effect as a registration under 20 Pa.C.S. § 8619(a)
(relating to use of driver's license or identification card
to indicate organ or tissue donation).
Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
