AN ACT
Designating a roundabout at Pennsylvania Route 34, Spring Road,
Pennsylvania Route 850, Valley Road, and Pisgah State Road in
Carroll Township, Perry County, as the Shane E. Troutman
Memorial Roundabout.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Shane E. Troutman Memorial Roundabout.
(a) Findings.--The General Assembly finds and declares as
follows:
(1) Shane E. Troutman graduated from West Perry High
School in 1987.
(2) Mr. Troutman loved riding his motorcycle with his
wife of 26 years.
(3) The intersection that is now the roundabout at
Pennsylvania Route 34, Spring Road, Pennsylvania Route 850,
Valley Road, and Pisgah State Road in Carroll Township, Perry
County, is the unfortunate location of Mr. Troutman's death.
(4) Mr. Troutman died on April 18, 2016.
(b) Designation.--The roundabout at Pennsylvania Route 34,

Spring Road, Pennsylvania Route 850, Valley Road, and Pisgah
State Road in Carroll Township, Perry County, is designated the
Shane E. Troutman Memorial Roundabout.
(c) Signs.--The Department of Transportation shall erect and
maintain appropriate signs displaying the name of the roundabout
on the major approaches to the roundabout.
Section 2. Effective date.
This act shall take effect in 60 days.
