AN ACT
Repealing the act of April 16, 1862 (P.L.538, No.513), entitled
"An act relating to certain Children's Homes."
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. The act of April 16, 1862 (P.L.538, No.513),
entitled "An act relating to certain Children's Homes," is
repealed:

Relating to certain Children's Homes.
Section 1. Commitment of children to certain institutions
It shall and may be lawful for any judge, mayor, alderman or
justice of the peace of the City of Philadelphia, to indenture,
bind or commit to the St. John's Orphan Asylum, or the St.
Vincent's Home, located in the City of Philadelphia, orphan,
destitute, abandoned or vagrant children.]
Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
