AN ACT
Amending the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), entitled "An
act relating to the public school system, including certain
provisions applicable as well to private and parochial
schools; amending, revising, consolidating and changing the
laws relating thereto," in school health services, providing
for administration of epinephrine auto-injectors by school
bus drivers.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. The act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), known
as the Public School Code of 1949, is amended by adding a
section to read:
Section 1414.9. Administration of Epinephrine Auto-injectors
by School Bus Drivers.--(a) The provisions of 42 Pa.C.S. ยงยง
8332 (relating to emergency response provider and bystander good
Samaritan civil immunity) and 8337.1 (relating to civil immunity
of school officers or employees relating to emergency care,
first aid and rescue) shall apply to a school bus driver when
all of the following apply:
