A RESOLUTION
Designating the month of October 2018 as "Pennsylvania
Pharmacists and Pharmacy Month" in Pennsylvania.
WHEREAS, Pharmacists and pharmacies are responsible for
substantial contributions to health care in all practice
settings in this Commonwealth and across the nation; and
WHEREAS, As of September 2018, this Commonwealth has 17,665
licensed pharmacists working toward improving medication use by
reducing abuse and advancing patient care in all practice
settings; and
WHEREAS, Since its founding in 1878, the Pennsylvania
Pharmacists Association has served as a leading voice of
pharmacy by promoting the profession through advocacy, education
and communication in an effort to enhance patient care and
public health; and
