A RESOLUTION
Designating February 24, 2018, as "Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial
Fund Pay It Forward Day."
WHEREAS, In 1976, Joe and Peggy Dolan established the Kelly
Anne Dolan Memorial Fund in memory of their daughter who died at
six years of age from leukemia; and
WHEREAS, Through the experience of caring for their daughter,
the Dolans realized the many hardships facing parents with
seriously ill children; and
WHEREAS, The Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund helps families
caring for children with serious illnesses, disabilities and
injuries; and
WHEREAS, The Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund provides
financial assistance for needs not covered by insurance, respite
programs and noncash items; and
WHEREAS, Since its founding, the Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial
Fund has served more than 27,000 families in crisis in
Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware; and

WHEREAS, Over the past 17 years, Tamanend Middle School in
Warrington, Bucks County, has raised $414,605 for the Kelly Anne
Dolan Memorial Fund; and
WHEREAS, On February 24, 2018, the Tamanend Middle School
community will come together for the 18th Annual Kelly Anne
Dolan Memorial Fund Basketball Tournament; therefore be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives designate
February 24, 2018, as "Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund Pay It
Forward Day."
