A RESOLUTION
Recognizing the month of September 2017 as "Realtor® Safety
Month" in Pennsylvania.
WHEREAS, Realtors® drive economic growth by providing a range
of professional services and ensuring that dreams of home
ownership materialize in our communities; and
WHEREAS, Committed to the highest and best use of residential
and commercial real estate, Realtors® have varied and important
tasks that require public interaction and that may involve
personal safety risks; and
WHEREAS, Originally chartered in 1920, the Pennsylvania
Association of Realtors® is one of the largest trade
associations in this Commonwealth; and
WHEREAS, The Pennsylvania Association of Realtors® is
committed to protecting the personal safety of its 30,000
members year-round; and

WHEREAS, The Pennsylvania Association of Realtors® and its 40
local associations are observing "Realtor® Safety Month" from
September 1 through 30, 2017, in conjunction with the National
Association of Realtors®; and
WHEREAS, This year marks the 14th year in which the National
Association of Realtors® has committed to ongoing efforts to
keep members and clients safe; therefore be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives recognize the
month of September 2017 as "Realtor® Safety Month" in
Pennsylvania.
