AN ACT
Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
Statutes, in Pennsylvania Turnpike, further providing for
deposit and distribution of funds.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Section 8915.6 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
ยง 8915.6. Deposit and distribution of funds.

(b.1) Unencumbered money distributed to counties.--If a
county receives a distribution under subsection (b) but does not
spend the full amount of the distribution, the amount of the
distribution that is not spent or otherwise encumbered may be
distributed to a municipality that is located within the county,
at the discretion of the county, for the maintenance, repair,
construction or reconstruction of roads or bridges, along with
related improvements regarding those roads and bridges, for
which the municipality is legally responsible. The county and

the municipality shall, upon request, provide verification and
other relevant information regarding the money distributed to
the municipality for the purposes set forth in this subsection.

Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
