AN ACT
Amending Title 42 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure) of the
Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, in registration of sexual
offenders, prohibiting sex offenders from residing in certain
locations.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Section 9799.15 of Title 42 of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
ยง 9799.15. Period of registration.

(k) Residency.--An individual specified in section 9799.13
shall not reside within 2,500 feet of any public school, private
school, parochial school, preschool or childcare facility for
the duration of the required period of registration under
subsection (a).
Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
