AN ACT
Amending the act of October 7, 2010 (P.L.484, No.70), entitled
"An act providing for protection of abused, neglected,
exploited or abandoned adults; establishing a uniform
Statewide reporting and investigative system for suspected
abuse, neglect, exploitation or abandonment of adults;
providing for protective services; and prescribing
penalties," in reporting suspected abuse by employees,
providing for Statewide adult abuse registry.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. The act of October 7, 2010 (P.L.484, No.70),
known as the Adult Protective Services Act, is amended by adding
a section to read:
Section 508. Statewide adult abuse registry.
(a) Establishment.--The department shall establish a
Statewide registry of individuals who have been convicted of:
(1) simple assault under 18 Pa.C.S. § 2701 (relating to
simple assault) if the victim is 18 years of age or older;
(2) aggravated assault under 18 Pa.C.S. § 2702 (related
