AN ACT
Amending the act of June 13, 1967 (P.L.31, No.21), entitled "An
act to consolidate, editorially revise, and codify the public
welfare laws of the Commonwealth," in public assistance,
further providing for reimbursement for certain medical
assistance items and services.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Section 443.6 of the act of June 13, 1967
(P.L.31, No.21), known as the Human Services Code, is amended by
adding a subsection to read:
Section 443.6. Reimbursement for Certain Medical Assistance
Items and Services.--* * *
(h) Payment for medical assistance capitation and fee-for-
service for ambulance transportation shall be as follows:
(1) For basic life support, not less than one hundred eighty
dollars ($180).

(2) For advanced life support, not less than three hundred
dollars ($300).
(3) Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, for
ground mileage, not less than two dollars ($2) for each loaded
mile.
Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
