A RESOLUTION
Designating the month of October 2016 as "Cleaning for a Reason
Month" in Pennsylvania.
WHEREAS, Cleaning for a Reason is a nonprofit organization
that serves the United States and Canada; and
WHEREAS, The mission of Cleaning for a Reason is to provide
the gift of house cleaning services, free of charge, to women
who are undergoing treatment for any type of cancer; and
WHEREAS, The goal of Cleaning for a Reason is to enable the
brave and strong women fighting cancer to focus on their health
and treatment, while Cleaning for a Reason focuses on, and takes
the worry out of, house cleaning for these women; and
WHEREAS, Cleaning for a Reason has recruited more than 1,200
maid services to donate free house cleaning; therefore be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives designate the
month of October 2016 as "Cleaning for a Reason Month" in
Pennsylvania; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives recognize the
continued efforts and success of Cleaning for a Reason in
fulfilling its mission to assist women who are undergoing cancer
treatment.
