AN ACT
Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
Statutes, in miscellaneous fees, further providing for
driver's license and learner's permit; and abrogating a
regulation.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Section 1951 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
§ 1951. Driver's license and learner's permit.

(e) Exception.--Any person 65 years of age or older shall be
exempt from payment of the fees required under subsections (c)
and (d).
Section 2. The provisions of 67 Pa. Code § 97.1 and any
other provision of 67 Pa. Code are abrogated insofar as they are
inconsistent with 75 Pa.C.S. § 1951.
Section 3. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
