AN ACT
Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
Statutes, providing for special motorcycle plates for
firefighters.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
ยง 1361.1. Special motorcycle plates related to firefighters.
Upon application of any person who is an active or alumni
member of the International Association of Fire Fighters,
accompanied by a fee of $35 which shall be in addition to the
annual registration fee and by such documentation as the
department shall require, the department shall issue to the
person a special registration plate designating the motorcycle
as belonging to a person who is a professional firefighter. The

special registration plate may be used only on a motorcycle. The
Pennsylvania Professional Fire Fighters Association Charitable
Foundation shall receive $15 of the fee paid by the applicant
for the plate.
Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
