AN ACT
Designating a bridge on that portion of State Route 3006 over
Spring Creek, Bellefonte Borough, Centre County, as the
Bellefonte Veterans Bridge.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Bellefonte Veterans Bridge.
(a) Findings.--The General Assembly finds as follows:
(1) Bellefonte Borough wishes to honor the citizens of
Centre County who have served or are currently serving our
nation in the armed forces.
(2) Centre County residents served in every major United
States military conflict beginning with the Revolutionary
War.
(b) Designation.--The bridge located on State Route 3006 in
Bellefonte Borough, Centre County, over Spring Creek is hereby

designated the Bellefonte Veterans Bridge.
(c) Signs.--The Department of Transportation shall erect and
maintain appropriate signs displaying the name of the bridge to
traffic in both directions on the bridge.
Section 2. Effective date.
This act shall take effect in 60 days.
