AN ACT
Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
Statutes, in penalties and disposition of fines, further
providing for summary offenses.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Section 6502(a) of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
ยง 6502. Summary offenses.
(a) Violations of this title.--The following shall apply:
(1) It is a summary offense for any person to violate
any of the provisions of this title unless the violation is
by this title or other statute of this Commonwealth declared
to be a misdemeanor or felony. [Every]
(2) Except as otherwise provided in paragraph (3), every
person convicted of a summary offense for a violation of any
of the provisions of this title for which another penalty is
not provided shall be sentenced to pay a fine of $25.
(3) Every person convicted of a summary offense for a

violation of section 3313(d) (relating to restrictions on use
of limited access highways) shall be sentenced to pay a fine
of $100.

Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
