1Amending Title 35 (Health and Safety) of the Pennsylvania
2Consolidated Statutes, in volunteer firefighters, further
3providing for violations.

4The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5hereby enacts as follows:

6Section 1. Section 7427(a) of Title 35 of the Pennsylvania
7Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:

8§ 7427. Violations.

9(a) Employers.--An employer who willfully and knowingly
10violates this subchapter shall be required to revoke a
11disciplinary action and any penalty attached thereto or to
12reinstate such employee to his former position and shall be
13required to pay the employee an amount equal to three times all
14lost wages and benefits for the period between termination and
15reinstatement and [reasonable] all attorney fees incurred in an
16action to recover lost wages and benefits.
