1Providing for elimination of certain reporting duties of the
2Legislative Budget and Finance Committee.

3The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4hereby enacts as follows:

5Section 1. Elimination of certain reporting duties.

6The Legislative Budget and Finance Committee shall no longer:

7(1) Undertake studies and prepare reports of the studies
8for the General Assembly under section 635.1(d) of the act of
9May 17, 1921 (P.L.682, No.284), known as The Insurance
10Company Law of 1921.

11(2) Issue reports to the General Assembly under 4
12Pa.C.S. § 1211(b) (relating to reports of board).

13(3) Perform performance audits, make written reports of
14the audits and submit copies of the reports to the General
15Assembly under 75 Pa.C.S. § 9701(c) (relating to legislative
16oversight).

17Section 2. Effective date.

18This act shall take effect immediately.
