1Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2Statutes, in size, weight and load, further providing for
3length of vehicles.

4The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5hereby enacts as follows:

6Section 1. Section 4923(a) of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
7Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:

8§ 4923. Length of vehicles.

9(a) Motor vehicles.--

10(1) Except as provided in paragraph (2), no motor
11vehicle, including any load and bumpers, shall exceed an
12overall length of 40 feet.

13(2) Paragraph (1) does not apply to the following:

14(i) A motor vehicle equipped with a boom or boomlike
15device if the vehicle does not exceed 55 feet.

16(ii) A bus, school bus or motor home which does not
17exceed 45 feet.

18(iii) An articulated bus which does not exceed 63

1feet.

2(iv) An automobile or boat transporter which does
3not exceed 45 feet, exclusive of an overhang of not more
4than three feet on the front and four feet on the rear.
