1Amending Title 65 (Public Officers) of the Pennsylvania
2Consolidated Statutes, in lobbying disclosure, further
3providing for prohibited activities.

4The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5hereby enacts as follows:

6Section 1. Section 13A07(a) of Title 65 of the Pennsylvania
7Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:

8§ 13A07. Prohibited activities.

9(a) Political committees and activities.--

10(1) A lobbyist may not serve as a treasurer or other
11officer who must be included in a registration statement
12under section 1624(b)(2) and (3) of the act of June 3, 1937 
13(P.L.1333, No.320), known as the Pennsylvania Election Code, 
14for a candidate's political committee or a candidate's
15political action committee if the candidate is seeking a
16Statewide office or the office of Senator or Representative
17in the General Assembly.

18(2) A lobbyist may not serve as a campaign manager or 

1political consultant for a candidate seeking a Statewide 
2office or the office of Senator or Representative in the 
3General Assembly.
