A RESOLUTION
1Honoring the life and expressing condolences upon the passing of
2Trooper First Class Blake T. Coble, a member of the
3Pennsylvania State Police who was tragically killed in the
4line of duty on October 4, 2012.
5WHEREAS, Born in Pittsburgh on November 15, 1964, Trooper
6First Class Blake T. Coble was the son of Tom and Judy Clegg
7Coble; and
8WHEREAS, Trooper Coble was a member of the Pennsylvania State
9Police for more than 24 years and had been attached to the
10Brighton Township Barracks for nearly 20 years; and
11WHEREAS, On October 4, 2012, Trooper Coble was tragically
12killed in the line of duty when a tractor-trailer struck his
13police cruiser; and
1WHEREAS, A beloved family member, dedicated police officer
2and avowed community steward, Trooper Coble exemplified the best
3qualities of the human experience; and
4WHEREAS, Trooper Coble had a zest for life and was a member
5of the Fraternal Order of Police; and
6WHEREAS, Speaking of Trooper Coble, State Police Corporal
7Mark Bardzil said "Blake taught us it's not about the shine on
8our shoes, it's about the shine on our hearts and Blake shone
9brightly"; and
10WHEREAS, Trooper Coble had a love of music, especially Jimmy
11Buffett and was a proud Parrothead; and
12WHEREAS, Trooper Coble is survived by his wife, Brenda; his
13children, James and Savannah; his sisters, Heather and Julie;
14and his 11 nieces and nephews; and
15WHEREAS, Trooper Coble generously gave of his heart and time
16to enhance the quality of life of his family and community and
17his loss will be felt by the many individuals who knew, admired
18and loved him; therefore be it
19RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives honor the life
20and express condolences upon the passing of Trooper First Class
21Blake T. Coble, a member of the Pennsylvania State Police who
22was tragically killed in the line of duty on October 4, 2012;
23and be it further
24RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution be transmitted to
25Mrs. Brenda Peeso Coble, 103 Dehaven Road, Beaver Falls,
26Pennsylvania 15010.
