1Honoring the life and work of Sally M. Haas, President and CEO
2of the Pittsburgh Airport Area Chamber of Commerce and
3extending condolences.

4WHEREAS, Sally M. Haas, age 58, President and CEO of the
5Pittsburgh Airport Area Chamber of Commerce, died on Thursday,
6December 27, 2012; and

7WHEREAS, Haas had served with the organization since March of
81998 and had been the president and CEO since October of that
9year; and

10WHEREAS, Among other projects, Haas worked diligently with
11the 911th and 99th Regional Readiness Command to develop the
12Honorary Commanders Association and to ensure the continuation
13of the 911 Airlift Wing in the region; and

14WHEREAS, Under her leadership, the Pittsburgh Airport Area
15Chamber of Commerce grew from 800 members to 1,100 members; and

16WHEREAS, Haas is survived by her husband, Allan L. Haas, and
17two daughters, Kristen Haas and Jill Knut Kipper; therefore be
18it

1RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives honor the life
2and work of Sally M. Haas and extend condolences to her family
3and friends.
