1Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania
2Consolidated Statutes, in abortion, further providing for
3prohibited acts.

4The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5hereby enacts as follows:

6Section 1. Section 3213 of Title 18 of the Pennsylvania
7Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:

8§ 3213. Prohibited acts.

10(g) Clinical privileges.--Any physician performing or
11inducing an abortion who does not have clinical privileges at a
12hospital which offers obstetrical or gynecological care located
13within 30 miles of the location at which the abortion is
14performed or induced shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a
15misdemeanor in the third degree and shall be punished as
16provided by law.

17Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
