1Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2Statutes, providing for a canine health special registration
3plate.

4The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5hereby enacts as follows:

6Section 1. Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
7Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:

8§ 1370. Canine health special registration plate.

9The department, in consultation with the Canine Health Board,
10shall design a canine health special registration plate. Upon
11application of any person, accompanied by a fee of $35 which
12shall be in addition to the annual registration fee, the
13department shall issue the plate for a passenger car, motor
14home, trailer or truck with a registered gross weight of not
15more than 10,000 pounds. The Dog Law Restricted Account shall
16receive $15 of each additional fee for this plate.

17Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
