1Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2Statutes, further providing for the definition of "fire
3department vehicle."

4The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5hereby enacts as follows:

6Section 1.  The definition of "fire department vehicle" in
7section 102 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
8Statutes is amended to read:

9§ 102.  Definitions.

10Subject to additional definitions contained in subsequent
11provisions of this title which are applicable to specific
12provisions of this title, the following words and phrases when
13used in this title shall have, unless the context clearly
14indicates otherwise, the meanings given to them in this section:

16"Fire department vehicle."  A vehicle:

17(1)  owned or leased by an organized paid or volunteer

1fire department; or

2(2)  owned or leased by a fire relief association and 
3utilized by an organized paid or volunteer fire department.

5Section 2.  This act shall take effect immediately.
