AN ACT

Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated

Statutes, providing for sportsmen's registration plate.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1.  Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated

Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:

§ 1366.  Sportsmen's registration plate.

(a)  Plate.--The department shall design a special

sportsmen's registration plate. Upon application of any person,

accompanied by a fee of $35 which shall be in addition to the

annual registration fee, the department shall issue the plate

for a passenger car, motor home, trailer or truck with a gross

vehicle weight rating of not more than 10,000 pounds.

(b)  Use of fee.--Revenue that exceeds the general operations

cost of the registration process under this section shall be

deposited with the Wildlife for Everyone Endowment Foundation to

be used for conservation education programs and projects related

to game species such as deer, bear, turkey and aquatic species.

Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
