| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania |
2 | Consolidated Statutes, in minors, further providing for |
3 | penalties for selling or furnishing liquor or malt or brewed |
4 | beverages to minors. |
5 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
6 | hereby enacts as follows: |
7 | Section 1. Section 6310.1 of Title 18 of the Pennsylvania |
8 | Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read: |
9 | § 6310.1. Selling or furnishing liquor or malt or brewed |
10 | beverages to minors. |

12 | (d) Additional penalty.-- |
13 | (1) In addition to the penalty provided for in |
14 | subsection (c), a person who is convicted of violating |
15 | subsection (a) shall have his or her operating privileges |
16 | suspended by order of court as follows: |
17 | (i) A 90-day suspension for a first offense. |
18 | (ii) A six-month suspension for a second offense. |
19 | (iii) A one-year suspension for a third or |

1 | subsequent offense. |
2 | (2) Any person who violates subsection (a) is eligible |
3 | for an occupational limited license as provided for in 75 |
4 | Pa.C.S. § 1553 (relating to occupational limited license). A |
5 | copy of the order shall be transmitted to the Department of |
6 | Transportation. |
7 | Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days. |
