| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Amending the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), entitled "An |
2 | act relating to the public school system, including certain |
3 | provisions applicable as well to private and parochial |
4 | schools; amending, revising, consolidating and changing the |
5 | laws relating thereto," further providing for school district |
6 | payments. |
7 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
8 | hereby enacts as follows: |
9 | Section 1. Section 920-A of the act of March 10, 1949 |
10 | (P.L.30, No.14), known as the Public School Code of 1949, is |
11 | amended by adding a subsection to read: |
12 | Section 920-A. School District Payments.--* * * |
13 | (c.1) If a school district enters into a contract with a |
14 | provider for purchase of a good or service that is offered by |
15 | the intermediate unit, the school district, not later than ten |
16 | (10) days following the school district's award of the contract, |
17 | shall post on its Internet website a notice stating the |
18 | following: |
19 | (1) A description of the good or service being purchased. |

1 | (2) The contract price of the good or service being |
2 | purchased. |
3 | (3) The name and street address of the provider of the good |
4 | or service being purchased. |
5 | (4) The reason the school district contracted with the |
6 | provider of the good or service instead of the intermediate |
7 | unit. |
8 | (5) The price at which a comparable good or service could be |
9 | obtained from the intermediate unit, if the price can be |
10 | reasonably determined. |

12 | Section 2. This act shall take effect in 90 days. |
