| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Amending Title 74 (Transportation) of the Pennsylvania |
2 | Consolidated Statutes, providing for gas transmission line |
3 | right-of-way. |
4 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
5 | hereby enacts as follows: |
6 | Section 1. Title 74 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated |
7 | Statutes is amended by adding a section to read: |
8 | § 8117.1. Gas transmission line right-of-way. |
9 | (a) Authority.--The commission shall have the authority to |
10 | designate, acquire or install rights-of-way for the purposes of |
11 | utilization for gas transmission lines. |
12 | (b) Regulations.--The commission shall make rules and |
13 | regulations to carry out the provisions of this section. |
14 | Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days. |
