| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania |
2 | Consolidated Statutes, in firearms and other dangerous |
3 | articles, further providing for licenses. |
4 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
5 | hereby enacts as follows: |
6 | Section 1. Section 6109(k) of Title 18 of the Pennsylvania |
7 | Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a paragraph to read: |
8 | § 6109. Licenses. |

10 | (k) Reciprocity.-- |

12 | (1.1) (i) A person licensed or permitted to carry a |
13 | firearm in any state which laws recognize and give effect |
14 | in that state to a license or permit issued under the |
15 | laws of this Commonwealth shall be authorized to carry a |
16 | firearm in this Commonwealth. |
17 | (ii) This paragraph shall apply to a license or |
18 | permit holder from another state only while the license |

1 | or permit holder is not a resident of this Commonwealth. |
2 | A license or permit holder from another state shall carry |
3 | the firearm in compliance with the laws of this |
4 | Commonwealth. |
