| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Amending the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), entitled "An |
2 | act relating to the public school system, including certain |
3 | provisions applicable as well to private and parochial |
4 | schools; amending, revising, consolidating and changing the |
5 | laws relating thereto," providing for confidentiality of home |
6 | addresses of school employees. |
7 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
8 | hereby enacts as follows: |
9 | Section 1. The act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), known |
10 | as the Public School Code of 1949, is amended by adding a |
11 | section to read: |
12 | Section 118. Confidentiality of Home Addresses of School |
13 | Employes.--(a) The home address of an employe of a school |
14 | entity shall not be considered a "public record" under section |
15 | 102 of the act of February 14, 2008 (P.L.6, No.3), known as the |
16 | "Right-to-Know Law." |
17 | (b) For the purposes of this section, the term "school |
18 | entity" shall include a school district, intermediate unit, area |
19 | vocational-technical school, charter school, cyber charter |

1 | school, community college, the State System of Higher Education |
2 | and any school funded and administered by the Department of |
3 | Education. |
4 | Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days. |
