| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Amending Title 61 (Penal and Correctional Institutions) of the |
2 | Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, further providing for the |
3 | Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole. |
4 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
5 | hereby enacts as follows: |
6 | Section 1. Section 6111(a) of Title 61 of the Pennsylvania |
7 | Consolidated Statutes is amended to read: |
8 | § 6111. Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole. |
9 | (a) Establishment.--The Pennsylvania Board of Probation and |
10 | Parole is an [independent] administrative board within the |
11 | department for the administration of the probation and parole |
12 | laws of this Commonwealth. |
