| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Making an appropriation to the Fox Chase Institute for Cancer |
2 | Research, Philadelphia, for the operation and maintenance of |
3 | the cancer research program. |
4 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
5 | hereby enacts as follows: |
6 | Section 1. The sum of $689,000 is hereby appropriated to the |
7 | Fox Chase Institute for Cancer Research, Philadelphia, for the |
8 | fiscal year July 1, 2009, to June 30, 2010, for the operation |
9 | and maintenance of the cancer research program. Payment of this |
10 | appropriation shall be made by the Secretary of Health in equal |
11 | quarterly payments. |
12 | Section 2. The Fox Chase Institute for Cancer Research shall |
13 | provide full, complete and accurate information as may be |
14 | required by the Department of Health or the chairman or the |
15 | minority chairman of the Appropriations Committee of the Senate |
16 | or the chairman or the minority chairman of the Appropriations |
17 | Committee of the House of Representatives. |
18 | Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2009, or |
19 | immediately, whichever is later. |
