AN ACT
1 Prohibiting the use of State funds for relocation of licensed
2 facilities.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Prohibition on use of State funds.
6 (a) General rule.--No moneys of any fund in the State
7 Treasury may be used directly or indirectly by a Commonwealth
8 agency for the relocation of a licensed facility, and no
9 Commonwealth agency shall provide State funds to any
10 municipality or instrumentality thereof for the purpose of
11 relocating a licensed facility.
12 (b) Definitions.--As used in this section, the following
13 words and phrases shall have the meanings given to them in this
14 subsection:
15 "Commonwealth agency." A defined in 62 Pa.C.S. § 103
16 (relating to definitions).
17 "Licensed facility." As defined in 4 Pa.C.S. § 1103
1 (relating to definitions).
2 Section 2. Effective date.
3 This act shall take effect immediately.
