A RESOLUTION
1 Designating the week of April 2 through 8, 2007, as
2 "Professional and Graduate Student Appreciation Week" in
3 Pennsylvania.
4 WHEREAS, Professional and graduate students have earned
5 distinction in their chosen fields; and
6 WHEREAS, The economy of this Commonwealth is strengthened by
7 the research and development efforts of professional and
8 graduate students; and
9 WHEREAS, There are more than 80,000 professional and graduate
10 students enrolled in the State System of Higher Education
11 universities; and
12 WHEREAS, Professional and graduate students are the future
13 doctors, teachers, lawyers, businesspeople, scientists, artists
14 and leaders of our State; therefore be it
1 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives designate the
2 week of April 2 through 8, 2007, as "Professional and Graduate
3 Student Appreciation Week" in Pennsylvania.
