AN ACT
1 Amending Title 23 (Domestic Relations) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, further providing for award of
3 custody, partial custody or visitation.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 5303(b.2) of Title 23 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
8 § 5303. Award of custody, partial custody or visitation.

10 (b.2) Parent convicted of murder.--No court shall award
11 custody, partial custody or visitation to or allow contact or
12 written or verbal communication, directly or indirectly, by a
13 parent who has been convicted of murder under 18 Pa.C.S. §
14 2502(a) (relating to murder of the first degree) of the other
15 parent, guardian or other custodian of the child who is the
16 subject of the order[, unless the child is of suitable age and
17 consents to the order].
