AN ACT
1 Amending Title 23 (Domestic Relations) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, further providing for division of
3 entireties property.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 3507(b) of Title 23 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
8 § 3507. Division of entireties property between divorced
9 persons.

11 (b) Division of proceeds.--Except as provided in subsection
12 (c), the proceeds of a sale under this section[,] shall be
13 equally divided between the parties after [the payment] all of
14 the following:
15 (1) Payment of the expenses of sale[, shall be equally
16 divided between the parties].
17 (2) Allowance of credit and imposition of charges
1 between the parties because of:
2 (i) use and occupancy of the property;
3 (ii) taxes;
4 (iii) rents; or
5 (iv) other amounts paid, services rendered,
6 liabilities incurred or benefits derived.

8 Section 2. The amendment of 23 Pa.C.S. § 3507(b) shall apply
9 to actions commenced on or after the effective date of this
10 section.
11 Section 3. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
