AN ACT
1 Amending Title 62 (Procurement) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for powers and duties of
3 Department of General Services.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 321(1) of Title 62 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
8 § 321. Powers and duties.
9 Except as otherwise specifically provided in this part, the
10 department shall have the following powers and duties:
11 (1) Procure school supplies for the public schools of
12 this Commonwealth and procure or supervise the procurement of
13 all supplies, services and construction needed by executive
14 agencies and those independent agencies for which the
15 department acts as purchasing agency. Procurement authority
16 may be delegated in writing by the Secretary of General
17 Services.
