AN ACT
1 Amending Title 62 (Procurement) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for, in provisions relating to
3 small and disadvantaged businesses, the definition of "small
4 business."
5 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6 hereby enacts as follows:
7 Section 1. The definition of "small business" in section
8 2102 of Title 62 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes is
9 amended to read:
10 § 2102. Definitions.
11 Subject to section 2103 (relating to regulations), the
12 following words and phrases when used in this chapter shall have
13 the meanings given to them in this section unless the context
14 clearly indicates otherwise:

16 "Small business." A business in the United States which is
17 independently owned, is not dominant in its field of operation
18 and employs [100] 175 or fewer employees.
1 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
