AN ACT
1 Amending Title 42 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure) of the
2 Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, providing for child
3 protective zone; and imposing a penalty.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Title 42 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
7 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
8 § 9795.6. Child protective zone.
9 A person subject to the registration requirements of section
10 9795.1 (relating to registration) who intentionally or knowingly
11 enters into an area within 2,000 feet of a school, playground,
12 park or day-care center commits a felony of the third degree.
13 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
