AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, providing for a special license plate for
3 recipients of the Silver Star and Bronze Star.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
7 Statutes is amended by adding sections to read:
8 § 1366. Special plates for recipients of Silver Star.
9 Upon application of any person who is a recipient of the
10 Silver Star, accompanied by a fee of $20 which shall be in
11 addition to the annual registration fee and by such
12 documentation as the department shall require by regulation, the
13 department shall issue to the person a special registration
14 plate designating the vehicle so licensed as belonging to a
1 person who is a recipient of the Silver Star. The special
2 registration plate may be used only on one passenger vehicle or
3 one other vehicle with a registered gross weight of not more
4 than 9,000 pounds.
5 § 1367. Special plates for recipients of Bronze Star.
6 Upon application of any person who is a recipient of the
7 Bronze Star, accompanied by a fee of $20 which shall be in
8 addition to the annual registration fee and by such
9 documentation as the department shall require by regulation, the
10 department shall issue to the person a special registration
11 plate designating the vehicle so licensed as belonging to a
12 person who is a recipient of the Bronze Star. The special
13 registration plate may be used only on one passenger vehicle or
14 one other vehicle with a registered gross weight of not more
15 than 9,000 pounds.
16 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
