AN ACT
1 Amending Title 34 (Game) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for license costs and fees.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Section 2709(a) of Title 34 of the Pennsylvania
6 Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
7 § 2709. License costs and fees.
8 (a) License costs.--Any person who qualifies under the
9 provisions of this chapter shall be issued the applicable
10 license upon payment of the following costs and the issuing
11 agent's fee:
12 (1) (i) Junior resident hunting - $5.
13 (ii) Junior resident combination hunting and
14 furtaker - $8.
15 (2) (i) Adult resident hunting - $19.
1 (ii) Resident military personnel hunting - $1.
2 (iii) Former prisoner of war hunting - $1.
3 (iv) Pennsylvania National Guard hunting - $1.
4 (v) Reserve component of the armed forces hunting -
5 $1.
6 (vi) Veterans of the Persian Gulf War or the War on
7 Terrorism - $10.
8 (3) (i) Senior resident hunting - $12.
9 (ii) Senior lifetime resident hunting - $50.
10 (iii) Senior lifetime resident combination hunting
11 and furtaker - $100.
12 (4) Bear hunting:
13 (i) Resident - $15.
14 (ii) Nonresident - $35.
15 (5) Antlerless deer:
16 (i) Resident, including resident military, resident
17 disabled veteran and landowner - $5.
18 (ii) Nonresident - $25.
19 (6) Archery deer:
20 (i) Resident - $15.
21 (ii) Nonresident - $25.
22 (7) Muzzleloader deer:
23 (i) Resident - $10.
24 (ii) Nonresident - $20.
25 (8) (Reserved).
26 (9) Adult nonresident hunting - $100.
27 (10) (i) Junior nonresident hunting - $40.
28 (ii) Junior nonresident combination hunting and
29 furtaker - $50.
30 (11) Seven-day nonresident small game - $30.

1 (12) Junior resident furtakers - $5.
2 (13) Adult resident furtakers - $19.
3 (14) (i) Senior resident furtakers - $12.
4 (ii) Senior lifetime resident furtaker - $50.
5 (15) Adult nonresident furtaker - $80.
6 (16) Junior nonresident furtaker - $40.
7 (17) Resident disabled veteran hunting or furtaker under
8 section 2706(b) (relating to disabled veterans) - no cost.
9 (18) Replacement license - $5. Antlerless deer and bear
10 licenses shall be replaced by the original issuing agent
11 only.
12 (19) Owners or possessors of land open to public hunting
13 under section 2706(d) (relating to owners or possessors of
14 land open to public hunting) - $3.
15 (20) Migratory game bird hunting license:
16 (i) Resident - $2.
17 (ii) Nonresident - $5.
18 (21) Elk hunting license:
19 (i) Resident - $25.
20 (ii) Nonresident - $250.
21 (22) Special wild turkey license:
22 (i) Resident - $20.
23 (ii) Nonresident - $40.

25 Section 2. This act shall apply to the license year
26 beginning on July 1, 2007, and to each license year thereafter.
27 Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2007, or
28 immediately, whichever is later.
