AN ACT
1 Amending the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), entitled "An
2 act relating to the public school system, including certain
3 provisions applicable as well to private and parochial
4 schools; amending, revising, consolidating and changing the
5 laws relating thereto," further providing for collective
6 bargaining and employee contract reporting by school
7 districts.
8 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
9 hereby enacts as follows:
10 Section 1. The act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), known
11 as the Public School Code of 1949, is amended by adding sections
12 to read:
13 Section 528. Board of School Directors to Report Employe
14 Agreements Prior to Adoption.--(a) The board of school directors
15 of each school entity as defined by section 1101-A shall submit
16 a report detailing the tentative agreement for public inspection
17 and duplication to all persons who may interest themselves, at
18 least fifteen (15) days prior to voting on a school employe
19 contract.
20 (b) Fees for duplication as provided in subsection (a) shall
1 be consistent with section 687(a)(2)(ii).
2 (c) Contracts as provided in section 1121 shall be subject
3 to the provisions of this section.
4 Section 1128-A. Reporting of Agreements Prior to Adoption.--
5 If at any time during contract negotiations the board of school
6 directors votes on an agreement in accordance with this article,
7 that agreement shall be reported according to section 528(a).
8 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
